Snug fit
I have a Fujifulm X100s This cap fits snuggly and securely. I'm so bad about laying my caps down and forgetting them so I always carry a spare. I would recommend this cap.

If you love Out of Africa, you'll LOVE this.
Lately I have been reading everything I can get my hands on either written by or about Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen).
To me, she was an amazing, complex, compassionate, intelligent woman. I wish I could have met her, or at least seen and heard her recite when she came to America. I do have the cassette of her telling a couple of her stories during that visit. Her charm and whit come through even though her voice was beginning to fail. I noticed it got stronger when she talked of her beloved Africa and the people there.
I have read a couple books by authors that weren't very kind to her. They tended to dwell on her flaws and cast doubt on some of her deeds. Yes, she was a flawed, and emotionally challenged at times, but aren't we all. She had suffered so much physical and psychological injury she had to be affected. She wasn't made of stone. She changed in her views and beliefs over the course of her life which, to me, indicates intelligence and growth, not a lack of conviction or loyalty. She wasn't afraid to say that maybe she had been wrong.
Longing for Darkness was very refreshing and reaffirmed my original belief in her and her stories. The voice of Kamante is strong and clear and full of love for Karen. It is a heartwarming account of how he saw her and the life she lived in Africa. The farm comes to life in this book. His simple drawings enhance the story as well. The book includes several pictures that I haven't seen before of Karen, friends and family, and of the farm. This is a treasure for anyone interested in Karen and her stories, or Africa itself during this pivotal time.
