    This Grommet was what I needed, the original one was as hard as a rock. It shipped quickly, The fit was good, The look was the same as the original. I was glad to find it and get it quickly so to continue on my project.

    This steering coupler replacement kit is just what is needed if you own an old 1970's GM classic.
    This steering coupler replacement kit is just what is needed if you own an old 1970's GM classic. It is a 1980's Jeep part number but fits GM too. They are getting scarce and the price is rising, so don't delay too long if you need it, get it. No boot small end clamp is included. The factory clamps are too difficult to install anyways. They cause you to scratch the hell out of your freshly painted shaft! Other options are available and better in my opinion. I used a Stainless steel wide Tie Wrap one time and a 1" PEX Cinch Clamp on another one, which I saw done on Youtube. The Coupler kit is good quality. It fits nicely, and the boot can be "carefully" stretched over the pin rather than needlessly pressing that difficult pin out and back in again.
