The Bad and the Beautiful ...
Good inside look at the seamier side of Hollywood shenanigans/ internal production machinations. Kirk Douglas is sensational as usual. Supporting cast is excellent as well. Well worth seeing for anyone with budding aspirations of a career in Hollywood --or anyone else for that matter...

Crazy/Beautiful...
3 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. Crazy/Beautiful is one of my all-time favorite teen movies. Very good film on a budding interracial teen relationship. Set in L.A., Kirsten Dunst stars as Nicole Oakley, the sensitive but troubled "wild child" of a U.S Congressman (Bruce Davison) and critical step-mother Courteney (Lucinda Jenney). While doing beach cleanup for a D.U.I. conviction, Nicole runs into Carlos, (Jay Hernandez), an ambitious Annapolis-bound Latino student who also attends Pacific High. Mutually smitten, the two youths from different sides of the tracks soon find themselves spiraling into a love affair, much to the dismay of their disapproving families. Co-starring Taryn Manning as Nicole's equally out-of-control friend Maddy, this contemporary take on 'Romeo and Juliet', alas, has an uncertain, but happier ending. Good cinematography and superb acting from the supporting cast, Crazy/Beautifiul is one teen movie worth seeing more than once...

Brake Pushrod for My Old '77 Nova...
This pushrod which was advertised for my old 1977 Chevy Nova, turned out to be 1 3/8" longer than the original, factory installed pushrod. The hole for the brake pedal 'pin' was also slightly larger. It is exactly the same otherwise, but the length was not clarified in the posting and I could not install this longer pushrod. I ended up just using the rubber 'dust boot' and brass securing cup which were fine. The seller did respond about the problem, but I ended using my old pushrod with the new dust boot and cup. I suggested the seller just sell the boot and cup for shorter pushrods ...
