Light is nice tranformer is not quality
I'm on my fourth unit in six years. Aquascape does honor its 5-year warranty. The newly designed light is lasting longer (the old one was 12 tiny bulbs) but the transformer fails after a year.

Great System
Please disregard any reviews complaining about the filtration of well water; the maker expressly says that the system is not meant for well water.
I purchased my unit from the Waterdrop store on eBay. I paid $399, which included free shipping; the system is well built, and it's a breeze to install the hardest part was drilling a hole in our countertop; we have granite, so I purchased a dry Diamond Core bit from Amazon, and it cut through like butter.
Our city water out of the tap or through our filtered refrigerator is consistently above 200 ppm; this unit brought it down to around 11 ppm and 19 out of the faucet; the higher number at the faucet is because I added the Waterdrop inline remineralization cartridge, which I suggest everyone add. This unit essentially provides you with demineralized water, so you want to add back all those healthy minerals.
I chose this unit because all of the filtration numbers are certified, unlike Frizzlife or the others.
Finally, suggest that everyone install the water leak monitors (see photo). I have these installed under every sink, behind my refrigerator, basement, etc. It alerts you audibly as well as on your cellphone. The price of these units is far less than having to pay to repair any water damage.
