Much improved new version of old recordings.

So glad I bought this! The DVD is a much needed replacement for the VHS recording of the original pat-per-view program from 1989, and the improved sounding CDs replace the bootleg versions.

Another piece of the music history puzzle.

This compilation is a good sample of the music made in New Orleans in the 1960s. I was familiar with some of these songs via cover versions, some I might have heard before, the rest I've heard for the first time. For those of us who missed this music when first released, Ace has supplied us with another fine release to supply us with another piece of music history to fill in what was missing from our music history puzzle. Being a fan of '60s rock'n'roll music, and blues/R&B music, I'm so glad we have labels like Ace to make this music available.

Excellent upgrade

I already owned an old LP copy of this title, so I needed a good reason to buy this on CD. In addition to better sound, the 2 CDs have 35 minutes of material not on my vinyl copy (enough to make a 3rd vinyl disc). A definite improvement!!
