Memorable mornings in December

I love waking up to find out what is hiding behind the next window in the Lego Advent calendar. This has been a holiday tradition for several years in our house. This year was awesome as always. The reindeer R2D2 is really cool, and I like that it came with an extra set of antlers. The mini builds are really neat with how they use the different pieces for stuff. The box itself makes it fun with the different settings on the lid. There are different settings: Moon of Endor, Tatooine, and Hoth so you can set up different scenes. The other boxes in the past didn't have this. It made it more fun to play with. There were new pieces, like stud shooters that you could place with other blocks. The mini builds made up for the missing awesomeness of the Santa Vader from last year. The Millennium Falcon was awesome! Can't wait to see what Lego has in store for December 2016. This book is easy to understand and explains some of the scientific evidence for a biblical view of creation. The scripture references support the literal creation story, and support the faithfulness of God's word. Perfectly integrates science and theology. After all, nature declares the Glory of God.

This beautifully illustrated book catches the eye leading one to explore the engaging narrative. The writer fleshes out abstract ideas and ancient names, giving them context and meaning. Not the stereotypical sleep inducing history or science book! WARNING: Readers may experience the sense of "being back in time."
