It has many uses other than for fish. I really don't have an alternate name idea.

Great anytime you must remove the food from cooking fat or hot water. We use it for fish but it is really great for pouched eggs. It is also great for serving pieces of cake or pie from the pan. It works much better than the dedicated pie server we have because it is flexible on the business end. We bought the most recent ones for gifts.

I like that the title contains all the needed specifications which fends off ordering mistakes.

A 'V' belt is hard to get excited about but one that fits and does what is intended is a good thing.
