VW repair and instruction book
I would say that this book is very informative in its content and in its writing style. It is written in a 60's laid back attitude. You can read it almost like a book instead of going to only the section of VW repair that you need.
It is illustrated well, with hand drawn pictures that capture all that is needed for that particular repair procedure.
Yes, you can go and buy the usual Chilton or Haynes repair manual and it also will give you what you need in fixing your VW bug...but you will have a smile on your face when you fix your bug using this manual of procedures. It will give you a greater respect and love of your VW bug as you get your hands dirty...and maybe leave a few greasy fingerprints on this book for a reminder of a certain time that you had enjoying fixing your VW bug.
