DiDonato handles Handel
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. For me, the best part of this DVD is Joyce DiDonato....her singing is superb and her acting is outstanding, especially in the 3rd act "mad scene." You either love or totally dislike Baroque operas and especially Handel's works, and this one is not the easiest to like. Adding to that is the fact this is a modern production; however, the story translates quite well into today's world. I primarily bought this because of DiDonato...outstanding artist.

The Redemption Game
Great concluding book to the first two. Jen Blood is an excellent writer. Good story, scary in places; lots of info subtly inserted in the conversations. Read books 1 and 2 first.

Avenging Adam
Good K-9 Search and Rescue story....not overly compelling, but good; longer (and a bit more graphic) than a cozy mystery but not like a full blown detective novel. Burnett is known a a "romantic thriller" author. It was a good book, an easy read, not real brutal, satisfying and I'll probably read the other books in this series.
