Treads pop off every 5 minutes, it's a defect in the overall design.

It isn't very strong but overall it's good. The big weakness is the tracks come off. I went through 5 of them from different stores before I realized sitting in the box causes the tracts to deflect a bit. The only solution is to adjust the alignment of the robot (toe in) buy adjusting the tightness of the screws holding the case together. Otherwise fun, get use to replacing the treads often. But heck that is half the fun I suppose.

Grandstream DP720 DECT cordless VoIP handset

Quality Phone

Purchased these units to replace the DP715 and about 10 Gigaset handsets. These units intergrate into the UCM6100 platform and thus are a goood fit if your using the Grandstream. I still like the gigasets for a non-grandstream setup as they are easy to use and robust. However the DP720 are of equal or better build quality and ease of use is much higher when used with the UCM6000 units. I purchased one unit used and it had a broken charger. Turns out the spring that touches the battery lead had been dislocated. Took about 2 minutes to fix, but for most people they would have to return for a repair.

Warranty Not upheld

These units were manufactured with in the last year, yet Synology will not honor warranty without the original receipt. Boards had defective flash chip which was a known issue with units and should have been covered under warranty. No one should have to take legal action when it is so obvious that standard warranty should apply.
