My mother bought the record of "Friends ...
My mother bought the record of "Friends and Strangers" in 1977. I had the opportunity to listen and found out that Ronnie Laws sang on "Saturday Evening" when he wrote the lyrics and played his tenor sax on it. I never felt that Ronnie would be multitalent on vocals since his two sisters Debra and Eloise sang background. So, I realized how Ronnie decided to sing lead on "Saturday Evening" after he wrote the music and lyrics of it. Friends and Strangers was the gold album of all time.
