Excellent buy-
This set of books is excellent for learning how to needle tat. It is by Barbara Foster, who is an excellent source on all things related to tatting. I believe this book set may be the forerunner of her new book out on needle tatting. I would also recommend that if you are interested in needle tatting, that you buy her video or dvd on learning to needle tat- very informative and you can pause the dvd so you can learn the steps.
My only issue is that I wish the books were in one volume instead of two (I believe the new book is just one book, not two), and I wish it was a ring binder kind of book, so that it could lay flat so I could keep my hands free. Other than those minor things, I would highly recommend this book to any first-time needle tatter.
