Great Internet Radio

Very pleased with this radio. I did find that it will not receive some UK BBC stations that can be heard on my computer, but researching this it's because the BBC, on some channels, uses a non-compatible music format. They started this in 2015 and many people complain about the format. The other point worth noting is that the radio can use either standard dry batteries, rechargeable batteries or run from house power. It comes with a charger/power supply, but does not come with rechargeable batteries. So, these have to be purchased separately and 4 rechargeable D Cell batteries will set you back over $20. I tried dry batteries and they only lasted a few days so the radio is quite thirsty. It does take a little study to figure out how to operate it but once you do, it's pretty easy. An added bonus is the ability to set up your own "favorites" list on the supported web site, and this list is available to the specific radio and any others that you want to specify. Overall, this is a fantastic radio for the price.

Great all round for working with the old analog 8mm tapes.

I bought this primarily to transfer old family tapes that were recorded on a now defunct old camcorder. The quality on playback is better than I expected from this format and up-converted by the TV is actually quite good.. Even making new recordings on 20 year old tapes, the image quality is actually better than I expected.
