The fan really moves air quietly
I could not stand the dinky loud fan the builder put in our washroom. It was only 50 CFM and sounded like a jet engine. It made no difference in the air quality and was so loud my son could hear it in his bedroom at night. The new one moves air well and is so quiet I cannot hear it at all when the washer or dryer are on. I can barely hear it on alone. It is heavy and took some attic bracing but we got mounted and working in a single day. It does take a larger duct 6in. If you use a 4 inch it will not be as quiet.
