Wonderfully made film.
Great characters! Reminds me of the south when I was growing up when everybody knew their neighbors and would do anything for them. Friends were family. Bless your heart.

Lonesome Dove
3 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. One of the best books made into a movie you will ever see. Wonderful characters brought to life. The movie is almost word for word the same as the book. I have watched this movie at least once a year since it came out. I gave my copy to my 25 year old daughter because she loved it so much. I started of with VHS and I just bought my 2 copy of the DVD.I can't wait to watch it again.

Everybody should watch the extended version. Goes into way more detail than the regular version. Explains so much that you were wondering about.
