Fantastic Journey

I'd heard of the fall for years but avoided them for some odd reason even though I was a huge fan of New Order, Joy Division and other UK groups. Then one night on a (former!) alt rock station I heard The Fall's "U.S. 80's-90's" on the radio. The dj gave the band and album but I had to call back and verify the album name. I bought that album - Bend Sinister - and I've since had a mild interest in the Fall. 20 years later I am a fall fanatic. Why it took so long is a mystery but after I got the Peel Sessions box I had to have everything. This remastered 2 CD set is amazing. I heard many of these tracks via Peel Sessions and the RED box set released in 2007 but experiencing the original album is revelatory now. Buy this and experience THE FALL. Amazing. "The Classical" open the disc and the intensity never lets up. I only wish I could see them live.

BRANDO FANS NEED THIS

The best on this is Julius Caesar from the early 1950s. Great Film and impossible to find anywhere else; either on DVD or Blu-ray. This is the most inexpensive way to get a Very Good DVD of the film. Mutiny on the Bounty is not terrible; it's just historically inaccurate. It's got a great first half. The Formula is a 1970s talky thriller. Engaging if you saw it new back then. That's all for now. But This is a fine set. I bought 3 of them. 2 as gifts.

there's a lot of great Hard Rock from Sweden

I highly recommend this band along with SPIDERS. Just two of many great Hard Rock bands currently active in Sweden. If you like 1970's flavor Hard Rock with some modern vibes, i do recommend this a great deal. Check them out on You Tube.
