I wish they still made this camera. It was simple and easy to use.

I had one of these before and was happy with it until it jammed. I bought another model fuji camera (a Finepix JX) but found it to be not what I really wanted. First of all I had several memory cards for the A500 and secondly I liked being able to use AA batteries in it. The new camera uses a different card and has a rechargeable pack in it. That means I have to have a separate charger for it. I'm in construction so I use the A500 for taking pictures in basements and attics when I work in them to show my customers any problems that I run into. Its a little more hardy than the new one. The JX just doesn't work out for the job so it sits on the shelf. I also found that the JX directions are a lot more complicated than the A500. Too bad they don't make the A500 anymore. I'm happy I was able to find this used one. Its just what I wanted.

It's solves certain problems.

I really can't say how good this particular antenna is but I have used Glass mount antennas multiple times on my trucks. The only main problem I have with them is when I pull into a parking structure or a carwash. I have to remove the whip portion.
