The best audio interfaces are the ones you can just forget are there.
The interface I was using previously was an old Audiobox USB, so the same driver set I had already installed worked for it. Same settings, no complicated setup. Works perfectly, low latency, nice sounding pres. Don't have to think about it, just use it

About what I expected
Paying this little for a lot of 5 sets of earbuds I didn't expect Apple comes-with-your-ipod quality, and they generally speaking met my expectations. 4 of them worked perfectly upon testing, and one had an short near the 3.5" jack resulting in intermittent contact, loss of volume/stereo signal, depending on me fiddling with it.
The audio quality is, in terms of frequency response, unsuitable for listening to music. Very 'middy', no bass response to speak of, and no 'air'. Would only recommend for spoken word/podcast, etc, and I would expect that to be fatiguing at volumes high enough for clarity.
I've picked out one pair that sound 'the best', and they'll likely get me through the next couple days until I can pick up some quality earbuds.

Convenience and peace of mind in one rack space.
The unit has made starting up my music production rig much more stress-free. Can switch on only what I need, in an order that avoids speaker 'thumps', all from my chair. Definite quality-of-life improvement.
