User friendly with excellent features
The Onkyo TX-NR6100 is an all around great AV receiver. This Onkyo model is the "base" model to experience certified THX sound.
Easy to hook up speakers and subwoofer. So many options to choose from when fully utilizing the settings menu.
Paired this receiver with Klipsch Reference and Reference Premier speakers/sub for amazing sound from my 7.2 channel configuration.
The TX-NR6100 has Klipsch Optimized sound mode. This means by using the "speaker" option in the settings menu, the receiver automatically sets the crossover for each pair of speakers as well as the sub. Takes any guess work out of it for the end user!
Super easy set-up, intuitive settings menu, and easy to understand and use remote control.
Previously used an Onkyo TX-NR656 for the past 7 years, and I highly recommend making the switch, as I did, to the highest quality Onkyo receiver that you can afford!
