A classic tale, made a bit more believable... :)

One of my all-time favorite books, this is probably the 3rd or 4th copy I've bought to keep it in my collection. This is a more 'historical' telling of King Arthur's tale, lite on magic & fantasy, heavy on Celts, Druids, and 5th century Briton living... Merlin is a codgy old blacksmith, & is the real spine of the story. Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it. There are 2 later books in the series which a good, but to me, this one is the best.

Comparable to the originals

Adaquate replacements, and a near match to the original Alice straps... They are good for general use. If you are buying for distance hiking, I recommend the enhanced or later molle version with better padding.
