Earns it Reputation
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. While I've only owned this lens for a short time, long enough to shoot one roll of Tri-X, I'm satisfied that it lives up to its reputation as the best, or at least one of the best, lenses ever produced by Leitz for the Leica M3. Solidly built, focus and aperture adjustment is firm and sure. Images are sharp edge to edge, at least in my experience of making moderate-sized prints. I've found it the perfect adjunct for my M3.

One niggle
It is lightweight - certainly appropriate for inside-the-ruck rather than attached-outside-rubbing-the-brush. The straps do a great job of compressing my old down bag, if I were to complain about anything it would be that it takes a little getting used to fiddling with said straps to clear the opening when stuffing the (sleeping) bag back into the (stuff) bag. Not a big deal. Price is great, delivery was quick. Like the title says, it's a niggle, a nit. No biggie. I'm pleased.

A Great Source, for a Limited Market
If you have an abiding interest in what the earliest commentaries on the Gospel of John were saying, this is a great way to wade through all the other Patristic content and focus on particular parts of this Gospel. If that isn't your area of interest, it's likely to be a disappointment or at least confusing. As this series is fairly expensive as new, used-but-good condition books are a great value.
