This Little Amp Increases Sound 1/3 on Android Devices

My Android phones and Amazon Fire Tablets are weak in sound amplification. This MobileSpec does a great job for its size. Battery seems to last 10 hours listening at low to mid volume. The elastic stretch strap attaches easily to the bottom of my phone. Otherwise, I simply tie the rubber strap to a finger strap glued onto the back of the device. The amplifier power dial works well. I like that the device has a 3.5 mm input port instead of a 3.5 mm wired input. I will be buying another as a gift.

Cradles your head and neck better than narrower neck pillows

I like this memory-foam neck cushion better than others I've tried. It's wings are lower and wider than most, cradling you neck and head better than standard ones. The head rest extension works well on a standard pillow too. Plan to buy more.

Custom Buffalo Thunderbolt 2 / USB 3 + Samsung 840 EVO 1TB (MZ-7TE1T0) SSD

Reliable large external Startup SSD Drive for iMac.

This one-off custom SSD uses Thunderbolt 2, a rarity these days. I have Thunderbolt 2 on my late-2012 iMac, so I don't have to use a USB port. This drive also uses USB-B-Micro, the double-barrel connector that's become a standard in external drives. The case encloses a large 1TB Samsung SSD. It's 50 percent slower in data transfer than my reference external SSDs, a common Samsung SSD problem, but 10 times faster than the pokey 5400 RPM internal iMac drive, so I this is my start-up drive. I am very happy with my custom external SSD.
