Mansfield Park 2008 Masterpiece Theatre - Piper
1 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. WOW, yet another movie of Mansfield Park (Piper) for 2008 and the revival of Jane Austen's novel. I would rate this film average for its content. It takes liberties with the storyline as well as the true Austen characters and their stories. The ending is rather awkward and weird. However the background, scenery, locations and the such, are excellent. I purchased this version of Mansfield Park as I am a collector and I can't get enough of Jane Austen.

Mansfield Park 2004 BBC
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This adaptation of Jane Austen's novel is the BBC version within the Jane Austen Box Set. Staged like a play, this version is more true to the book. It runs very long, but is very good viewing. The characters in this adaptation seem more common-like yet renders very good performances. I highly recommend this DVD if you are interested in a film that runs long and answers most of the questions you may have after watching other renditions of Austen's Mansfield Park.
