I do have the same camcorder in PAL standard I like built in printer capability those models are very rare

RECORDER IS IN OUTSTANDING QUALITY of course tuners won't work in USA 500 GB is very handy capacity and that is what count.I discover one minor drawback that is you can not put timer recording while in 525 line mode other than that machine is first class

SUPER DUPER

When I did sold my Directv HR21 receiver new owner told me that hard drive is working pretty loud I do have choise return the money or look for HD replacement.I did find this one and replaced malfunctioning original one.After rebooting HD start without problem and everybody are happy.End of the story
