Slicey and strong!
I have been clearing property I bought almost 2 months ago and have bought a few new tools, this being one of them.
It was a little thinner than I expected since I also have the Golok. I just wanted something longer than the Golok and I liked the double hand handle.
Today I cleared a row of briar bushes and trees to above head level. This thing was like using a Samurai sword!
One hard stroke at the right angle and I was slicing right through 3” diameter branches! Anything smaller than that wasn’t even felt it went through it so easily!
After an hour of work I was sure the blade would be dented, bent, or at least scratched but it was only stained by trees and plants I had cleared! It even still had the same sharp edge I had received it with!
I took it back to the garage, wiped it down with cleaning and protecting oil, and put it away until the next time!
It turned a tedious task into a fun workout. I look forward to continuing cleanup of my new property!

Second Micro Praetorian
I have 5 Medford’s now and something about them just appeals to me. I have another micro Praetorian in S35vn and wanted a second one in a different blade steel to try.
I check eBay a few times a week and here this one popped up one day with a 3v blade! I immediately ordered it!
I love it! They come nice and sharp and they have this distinctive clunk when you open them and the lock bar snaps into place!
If one shows up with a different steel one day I will order it too.

Professional sharpening makes it right
I bought 8.3 acres that hadn’t been taken care of in a few years so I needed a few tools to help.
I first bought a cheap chain store machete and it helped but then saw Condor machetes.
I ordered this one and loved it as soon as it was in my hand! It worked decently but I had it with me when I visited the local knife store.
I saw that they also sold this machete and asked them about the edge. They said they always touch up the edge before selling. So I brought mine into their shop and they sharpened it, what a difference it made!
Tree limbs that would take 2-3 hits beforehand now take 1! It just cuts through everything now! I actually look forward to going to my property and clearing new sections now. It has turned into a stress relief to go there and just chop away at the brush!
