The P101N-U10P by Encore has a couple of concerns.

The P101N-U10P by Encore has a couple of concerns. The voice boom wants to fall lower than where it’s best to talk. It has ‘click’ positions and when positioned for proper voice transmission, it doesn’t want to stay ... it tends to fall lower. And moving it out of the way innumerable times during a 24 hr shift isn’t going to improve the situation. Also it over-modulates and has distortion when talking. It’s intended to be used without a volume control, so it seems it was set higher then needed. And when you move it far enough away to not over-modulate, then persons calling say they can’t hear you. I like the feature of the tone controls .... just wish it didn’t the the other issues.
