Woodworth-Etter Sermons
Before you read this book, read Woodworth-Etter's book Signs and Wonders. Then you realize what's missing in today's "revivals". I never heard of anything like what went on at her meetings. I couldn't believe it, so I checked up on her camp meetings with newspapers.com. Some of the newspaper reports were more effusive in their reporting than she was in her 1916 book. Every word is true. I know my bible and there is nothing in this book that didn't happen in Acts. It's like reading Acts. Everything she said is scripturally correct. Not every meeting was a success, not everyone got healed.) But enough did where if she were around today, doctors would starve, there'd be no need for insurance companies.
Now this book, after about half-way through it, you realize she's preaching the same thing over and over. So what? Look at her track record. This is what it took to bring down the Holy Spirit like nothing we've ever seen in our lifetimes.
