1938 Bugatti 57 SC Corsica faux Crocodile Interior by CMC in 1:18 Scale M-136

Worth every dollar.

This model lives up to the CMC brand. It reminds me of those intricate German model cars with clock work moving parts. Hinges, all other parts are to scale. The trunk area is as detailed as the interior and the engine. Be very careful with the hooks that keep the engine cover in place. The literature states that the wheels can be removed by turning the central cap. I tried but they are so tightly turned, I was concerned with damaging those delicate spokes. The fit and finish is superb. I purchased the unpainted version with plain leather seats and removed the copper piece in front of the hood. I felt that it detracted but was impressed that it was held by in scale pins. It sits next to the blue beauty and is surrounded by scale mechanics.

The new '66 Batmobile

The quality is fantastic. The lights are great. This is an excellent model for the price, but it would be much better to charge a bit more and make it a correct 1/18 scale model. The real car is nearly 20 ft. long. This model measures out to be between 14-15 ft long.
