Old school; service manual 'by the book'

I worked as a mechanic for many years. Although I can perform a lot of repairs without a service manual, it's still needed for various specifications and other information. Being a 'factory' manual, it has a wealth of information. It is broken down into chapters, making it easier to find what you're looking for. If I was a novus mechanic, I would still purchase this vintage GM service manual over Haynes or Clymer. It explains the purpose and operation of most systems and components. I could've gotten this on disc or pdf format, and I still might. But as the saying goes, go with what you know! Besides, it's tougher to break a book than a laptop.

Tech FXs are dated, but still good flick

It's difficult to say something is really good, bad, or otherwise since it's my personal opinion. But that's a review, right? Anyway, I find this movie rather entertaining and is one I can still enjoy watching from time to time. The plot is well thought out, what with a scientist/programmer creating a virtual civilization where the characters created a virtual civilization on its own. The second virtual civilization was set in downtown Los Angeles in 1937. The FX are good, very good considering the movie came out in 1999. I consider it one of those 'sleepers' since it came and went from the theatres fairly quick. If you like a sci-fi set in modern future and past times, you should like 'The Thirteenth Floor'.

I would buy again

I went with Timken because I'm familiar with the brand and have used their bearing products for many years. If there is anything to complain about, it's that it is Chinese made. Hopefully the company has stayed on top of manufacturing & quality control. I will add, the bearing & hub assemblies did look well made.
