Incredible Shrinking Dickies
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Are you old enough to remember the 'Banana Splits' song? Probably the only time in their brief heyday that the Dickies threatened to break into the public conciousness. This is their first album, several cover versions and not a dud in sight. Remember that saying that the best pop records last 3 minutes ? Well, the Dickies could do the same thing in 2. The sort of stuff that if you put it on in your car you'll find yourself doing 90 mph without realising it. 'Dawn of the Dickies' is a bit more substantial and showed the band had legs, but for perfect American punk forget Green Day and Blink 182, this is the real thing.
