eight inputs is more than my television has.
I bought this to hook up a few video game consoles to a single television it's much easier to route the cables to this switch box and then to the television then it is to route each console to the television also I only have three inputs on my TV and this has eight which is considerably more than three. It auto detects when your system turns on which is also a nice feature you don't have to get the remote out so that means you can set it somewhere and not have to worry about losing it which is a plus because I don't think it'd be easy to replace. All in all it's a great value I'd buy another one if I needed it.

AV switch box works great I'm glad I bought it now I have two
It works awesome I mean you take your video game systems or whatever and you hook them all up to your TV and you can switch between each one without having to use a remote control or trying to remember what input does what it's awesome I love it thank you.
