Best PS2 Hockey Game?
Action is fast paced and fluid. Graphics are pretty darn sharp for a PS2 game. As the name suggests, you gotta learn to hit and poke check early or the AI will eat you alive. Playing on Rookie setting, slow pace, and still struggling to beat the AI. Must master the art of the deke, puck protect, one-timer, wrist shot, slap shot, dump in, fake shot to score. Opposing goalie is good, but so is yours. Lay players out with a cross check or knock them through the glass! Have your players catch fire or become energized by lighting! Announcer voice is exciting and lets you know when you can energize/catch fire! Tons of cool, historic, funny, kooky unlockables to find. A must have for any NHL PS2 fan.

This is a shout-out to all the best Mortal Kombat 2-D games. I feel like a teenager again fighting with old school Rayden, Liu Kang, Scorpion “ GET OVER HERE”. Best game for Ps1 no doubt
