Piece of @#$%
I bought this scanner printer because it is the same one that I've used for years. However my old one would not print anymore. I was happy when this arrived and all seemed well. I gave my old one to Goodwill and the very next day I started having scanning issues (a big black bar across the scans which seems to be a much reported problem with these machines). I quickly tried to get my old scanner back from Goodwill but the reception people could not find it. I tried everything to make this new one work ok but it is a piece of @#$%. As a last resort I went back and shopped in the Goodwill store and found my old one for $20. I bought it and now use both. I use the old one for scanning and the new one for printing. However, since the newer one was billed as "new" I feel like I was gypped. Live and learn.
