2005 Toyota 4-runner chain link spare tire carrier

The old spare tire carrier for my 2005 4-runner had a cable that would move the spare tire up and down, and the metal cable would eventually fray over time and use, and this updated carrier uses metal chain links, which should hold up better. the chain link carrier works very smoothly, and is a direct replacement for the old cable type.
