Hasegawa Thunderbolt
Classic molding ahead of its time when introduced in the late 1980's. Still a good solid build with a fine fit and minimal sanding required. No flash on the sprue as can be expected from Hasegawa quality.

Classic resin molding of a unique sealplane - requires higher level building knowledge
The 1st in a line of unique resin offerings long before the days of MPM & Special Hobby. This unique offering is a challenge to build and the builder needs experience to make this a unique conversation piece in anyone's collection. Vacuform canopies are nicely made but I have seen some yellow over time while in storage. The resin molding is crisp and clear and free of air bubbles and there are some slight fit problems but nothing a file and filler cannot correct. Like as mentioned before experience is a big plus in the building of said model. Still the only kit of this rare aircraft and it will be the highlight of any one's collection. Highly recommend for the avid builder / collector!

Unigue and excellent offering
Decals are a nice addition to the proliferated offerings on 1/72 WW2 subjects. Produced out of Australia, they are well printed with solid register and are a joy to use!
