New Catalytic Converter for 96-98 C/K1500, C/K2500, Silverado, Sierra

Good system, got a few quirks but expected due to its pricing

Recently purchased this system for my 96 c1500 with the 5.7 engine. Packaging was nice and the shipping was quick. Very well appreciated! Install went smoothly, except one o2 bung was slightly stripped. Costed me an 02 sensor but luckily I had another one laying around. I had to use a tap to clean up the threads and able to make it work. The supplied exhaust donuts and the flanges doesn't work well and dont recommend using them. They disintegrated costing me to remove them. Had to buy a new OEM flange gasket. Upon running, the coating will burn off as stated. You must give it a good run on the highway for at least 15 minutes or you'll have a very large....and smelly smoke show to the point people alongside thought your truck was on fire haha. But all in all......everything went well. My CEL is gone, no exhaust smell at all, and the truck feels good on power. Recommended if you are patient and dont easily get phased out from small arising issues that might occur. Still cant the price and awesome shipping. Great job nethertheless!
