Maybe good enough?

This fan is a replacement for one that was manufactured for years here in the U.S. But it isn't quite the same in how it fits in, which means using it as a replacement when an old one goes out requires much adjustment. The housing is a lighter gauge metal and vibrates, the wire is aluminum instead of copper, the thermostat is mounted on the fan itself instead of separately as in the American-made model and will to some degree impede air flow. But in this day and age, what are the choices? It looks and feels like one more made-in-China piece of junk. But maybe it's a piece of mediocrity. I'm taking a gamble on it because I don't like the other choices, and I'll have to hope this one lasts.Lire l'avis complet...

Good deal, moves alot of air

Pretty easy to install, thermostat work great, comes on about 10.30 am and goes off after dark about 7.30. temps been about 105 until 6.30 . i feel that the AC is not coming on as often and runs for a shorter time than before. last year AC ran almost all the time to keep up with 110 to 120 temps so im excited to see bills this year. ot as quiet as I would like but not terribleLire l'avis complet...

Works fine

I've read reviews that said it's noisy. It's a fan, not a toaster!!!! It makes noise by its very nature. Reviews said the thermostat was junk so I used my existing one. The one that came with the unit will be my backup. Fan works fine. It's running now!! Seems good quality, although I'll be pleasantly surprised if it lasts 15 years like my old one did. Solid fan and a solid frame setup.

Bought two of these to ventilate my greenhouse. Solid design and easy to install. I am very happy with their performance. Dropped my 12ft X 27ft greenhouse from 120F to about 104F during the day. Comes preassembled with the housing and wiring. Basically just need to frame them and screw them in to get started. Lire l'avis complet...

Great product, great price.

Not installed yet, but I went into the atic to take measurements and it is VERY HOT Up there! More than I ever imagined. I can see from having tested the fan velocity once out of the box that it will make a big difference. Once installed i'll set it at 80 degrees and it will automatically push out the trapped heat and run cooler outside air through the attic, even keeping the air handler more efficient.Lire l'avis complet...

Made noise right out of the box

I was hopeful this would have been a good fan, but it started making a grinding sound after about two hours of operating, I shut it off and inspected it for loose parts, everything is tight. The noise is coming from the motor. Spend the higher price and get a better fan....Lire l'avis complet...
