Ecobee 3 Lite

This has nice features that are an upgrade to my old programmable Honeywell thermostat. It’s nice that it’s connected and syncs with my iPhone and Alexa. I anticipate being able to eventually use the thermostat to save money. For now, I will continue to mostly manually adjust my thermostat and not use a programmed cooling setting. I really have people that work different shifts and sleep during different times so I don’t foresee being able to run a set schedule. I do like being able to just ask Alexa to adjust the temperature. I also like using sensors that average and give an overall temperature of my home instead of just the temperature at the thermostat. Would recommend the upgrade.Lire l'avis complet

Simple, pleasure to install and setup

Works exactly as it says it will. Installation the simplest I have ever installed. Accessory thermostats basically "self install". Wireless connect is piece of cake. Smart phone android app is simple and to the point. 4 settings for every day of the week and change it with your computer or phone from anywhere.
Haven't tried to connect to Alexa, and won't for now - no need to.
Yo cannot go wrong with this one, and the price is very fair.
Bought two - one for upstairs and one for downstairs with 2 accessory units to place in various rooms. Instructions and troubleshooting are clear and simple and correct.

Ecobee 3 light

I used to have regular programming thermostat since when I got this house, but it was confusing to set the date, time and temperature.
I purchased Ecobee 3 light from the good reviews. Since I have Amazon echo in the kitchen and living room, I need the thermostat without the Echo function. I don’t use humidifier, ecobee 3 light is good enough.
I love it. It was easy to replace from old one to this. Instruction was very clear. Very easy to program, and I love the geofencing feature.

Good smart thermostat

The thermostat works well and was very easy to set up. Good quality and clear display with mobile alerts and controllability.
I do prefer the Emerson Sensi over this one because the display info is larger print which is much easier to read and to adjust the temp you just tap up and down versus this one has a slide.
I decided to give this one a try since it was higher rated than the Emerson, but it comes down to personal preference since they offer the same features.Lire l'avis complet

Excellent Wi-Fi Thermostat!

Among the brands of high quality wi-fi thermostats I originally landed on getting an Ecobee 3 Lite as it was really all I needed. I didn’t need the extra features that come in their Ecobee 4 and across other brands I wasnt as impressed with their design. I finished swapping all of my thermostats to Ecobee 3 Lites now in our house and I love the control from the app, the interface on the tstat itself, and how clean it looks on the wall. Great Smart Thermostat - Well Worth The Money!

Really great product. Very easy to setup, although I would recommend hiring a professional, especially if you need to do anything to your current furnace configuration (such as install new wiring).r>

Great thermostat

It's OK, gets the job done

If you have a 24 volt line found in newer homes, it should be easy to install. Otherwise, your opening up you HVAC system to install the provided 24 volt adapter or possibly calling in a pro, which was my solution. Based on my heater/AC design, the pro needed to alter the wiring in order to use the Ecobee3. So far, it's working fine. WIFI connection was straight forward and the app for Android allows remote temperature adjustment and easy set up of temperature offsets. The extra large wall plate covered the holes from my old thermostat and the unit looks clean and modern. I also like the outside temp reading it pulls via Intranet. Good lower cost T-stat

I have a 3 level townhouse with Ecobee 4's on the second and third levels controlling a heat pump and a gas furnace. I needed supplemental heat in the first level so I installed a 4,000 watt electric wall heater controlled by an Ecobee 3 Light. Chose this because it looks and works virtually identical to the 4's and I don't need Alexa built in. I have an Echo Dot in the same room and it works fine to allow verbal control. I am glad the 3 Light will work with the remote sensors and I have 2 of those ordered. I am very satisfied with both the Ecobee 3 Light and the Ecobee 4's.Lire l'avis complet
