GM 4L60E Transmission 1-2 Shift Fix
2004 Chevy Trailblazer 150k trans had 1-2 shift delay. Just installed this and a couple of days drove local does make a difference. Not sure if it totally cured the delay but if made a positive difference as shifts are fine. To early to say it is absolute fix, but certainly worth a try. Easy to install, but would recommend watching YouTube to see how to install. While it was not a problem for me, I would recommend getting two of these and replacing the 3-4 accumulator which sits right on top of this. Wished I known that as it would only have taken maybe 10 more minutes to install. That accumulator sits on top of this and easy to install. Lire l'avis complet...

Brilliant, simple and inexpensive!
My install was a little different, the accumulator had been replaced so I was not sure this is where my hard shifts were coming from. I also noticed that one of the springs was missing in my acc. however the thing that alarmed me was the extremely tight fit, with a seal and an o-ring it was difficult to seat the unit in the housing and I thought for sure this was wrong and not going to work properly. Fixes 1-2 hard shift / hesitation on 4l60e
Just like the title says, this is a must have upgrade for your 4l60e. I had been fighting a hard shift from 1-2 for almost a month now, and this fixed it. Also, you can hardly tell that it shifts from 1-2 when driving normally. It's as smooth as butter! 03 GMC 1500 has 200k+ miles and now the trans feels better than new. Also, I would recommend the Corvette servo upgrade as well. Also seems to help improve shifting and will extend the life of the bands and clutches. I bought this item for a 4L 60 E transmission valve body repair I actually bought two of these I was able to get the first one and no problem but I wasn’t able to use the second one due to the fact that when putting the O-ring around the piston it’s fitment was sloppy at best I do not recommend these anyways I would just go with OEM shift accumulatorsLire l'avis complet...

This Really Fixes what It Says It Fixes!!!
Immediately got rid of my hard shifting issues from 1st to 2nd gear! After changing the ATF and filter and that didn’t fix the issue. I found a lot of issues with people complaining about the plastic accumulators GM put in their 4160E transmissions.
