If you know the steps you can rock this Wii Zumba and burn calories fast.

I bought this thinking it was like the DVD's and would teach the steps then track the fitness level. If you already knew the Zumba steps then it's good, if you're wanting to learn them, it will take a while.

Even without the belt, I was able to put the Wii controller in my pocket and it worked fine.

Not a bad Wii purchase, especially for what I paid for it... Just not what I expected. All in all it's good, just wouldn't say great. The dance instructor is more of an outline of a person, can't "see" the person and specific movements are sometimes a little hard to follow if you don't know the steps.

Seller was great, no problem there at all. Product was "as described", I just wished I'd researched it a bit better.

I will say that the music on this Wii Zumba fitness game is pretty good and has an easy rythmn to follow. I will say that after only a few minutes of trying to keep up, I felt like I had a cardio workout and was sweating! It was worth giving it a try...Lire l'avis complet...

Great way to work out alone or with friends!

This game has a lot of potential and I have to admit that I haven't had a lot of time to use it. I enjoy Zumba class and looked forward to having the option of doing it at home. The routines go really fast, so I tried starting in the tutorial section, but I found that the remote was way too sensitive. Any movement I made caused the instruction to jump ahead as if I had mastered the step. I had to set the remote down in order to have time to practice the parts of the routine and then pick it up and give it a little shake when I was ready to move on. Also, the belt that holds the remote is super huge and the pocket requires that you take the remote out of its protective covering, which I don't like to do repeatedly for fear it will wear out.

Fabulous workout for one in the comfort of your own home!

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this game. I use it in conjunction with Just Dance 2 for my cardio. There's even a workout mode option that starts at beginner and arranges a schedule for you. You can also just do individual songs.

I highly recommend doing the tutorials before trying workouts/dance routines. Even if (like me) you've done real Zumba classes, the tutorials help you get used to how the game looks for each dance, predicting what's coming next, etc.

The belt is great - no more worrying about the remote flying out of your hand! I'm overweight and can wrap it near to the tightest fit, so it will certainly fit all body types.

Zumba Fitness (Wii, 2010)

I wanted to buy Zumba fitness because I had just gotten a Wii for xmas and because I am unashamedly addicted to zumba classes. I would say that this program does provide a workout that compares favourably to a zumba class at the gym. It is fun and gives you an adequate workout. There is enough variety and enough of a challenge to hold the attention of more experienced users and I do believe it offers enough of an introduction to zumba that would allow the novice to find his/her own level of expertise. The program provides feedback to let you know how close your movements are to those on the screen. My only complaint is that I find the dancers on the screen are a bit difficult to relate to since they do not at all look like people but like colourful shadows or figures. Zumba Wii

Never tried zumba before and dislike current wii dance games without mat but I really like this.
Good workout and love the calendar function so I can see when I last exercised and at what intensity level. Fun to play with multiple people at once too!Lire l'avis complet...

Reconnect with the kids - get an awesome workout - all in your PJ's!

This is by far one of the best ways to get a great workout and not realize you're exercising!!!!!

Lots of fun to play and for us competative types.... I'm always trying to beat my kids and my own best score.

Even the beginner (easy level) is a great workout. I took zumba classes at a local health club for a year and NEVER got a workout like I did with this game.

It's as easy or as hard as you make it and the great part is.... I can do it in my p.j.'s!!!!

If you're looking for a fun way to get in that 20-30 minutes of exercises you need at least a few times a week, this is a fun and entertaining way to do it.

Reconnect with your kids! I had such a great time laughing and playing with my kids and even challenging them to keep up!

The only suggestion I could make for improving the game is to use a more realistic teacher. Sometimes it's just tough to follow her moves because of the "blirred" effect of the image. If it was more defined, some of the moves would be easier to follow.

Overall, the game does everything you expect and a lot more.

Awesome game, but where's more music?

I LOVE the game. It's the real Zumba moves to some great Zumba tunes, and the belt makes it SO EASY and fun to play!!!!!!!!

And if you think it's some dorky video game that's only half what Zumba should be....I put on my Heart Rate Monitor and tested it out doing the suggested moves, and burned up 515 calories in 33 minutes!!!!

And my favorite part? It's a game, so you can pause the teacher and other dancers if your heart rate gets too high or need some water, and not feel silly slowing down or missing moves, like I do when I'm in a Zumba class :DLire l'avis complet...

Zumba disappointment

It is worth the $20 I paid for sure. I was just disappointed that it is cartoonish. I would prefer a real person doing Zumba is all. I find it hard to really figure out what they are doing. OK....but good old videos are more for me

This item is ok, if you feel you need points to motivate you. I've come to the conclusion that these games take more time getting them situated than just putting in a workout video. I decided to order the actual Zumba workout video instead. One thing, I read on other peoples reviews also, is that it would've been helpful for a prompt on the next move to be illustrated on the screen. You have no idea what the transitions are from one move to the next which kind of stinks. In the "Just Dance" games they have little prompts below (for the next move)...and it's so helpful for keeping up and transitioning. I think if I were back deciding to order this or not...I would pass. Would've saved me the money.Lire l'avis complet...

I really like this game. I got this game because I wanted to amp up my physical routine, since I seemed to hit a plateau with my weight. While those Just Dance games do make my heart rate go up (depending on how many songs I do) when I do the Zumba, I burn afterwards. I feel my abs burning & my hips ache after I'm done. This tells me that I really am getting the full body workout. The music gets a lil' redundant, but the moves are definately effective! I will continue with this game as part of my excercise regime & I expect to get great results.Lire l'avis complet...
