Good learning & home workout with the Zumba dance steps.

I bought the Zumba Fitness for my Xbox 360 primarily for my wife's benefits. She is busy attending Zumba classes twice a week. I figured it will benefit her as well as giving me a taste of the different dances they do. I reviewed the different dances they have and most of the steps have "foreign" names. No polkas or waltzes here. Sorry! My wife already did the belly dancing on Zumba Fitness, since her workout classes covers that area. the xbox kinect is a genius idea. it really got me up and off the couch, it is fun to interact and makes it a competitive environment for a ssingle player or multiplayer. all gmaes are fun. wish more than one person could play the dance game. there shoudl really be a mutiplayer level for that. also im seeing a lot of dance games come out...id like to see more aciton games, or carnival games as well as strategic games. the software really needs to step it up to compete with other gaming devices out there. the concet of the kinect is amazing it just needs a lottle fine tuning.Lire l'avis complet...

The game does as it describes. My wife loves it and says it is a great workout. I don't think these exercise games should by $60 bucks brand new because i don't feel they offer the same value an something like Fable, Halo, or NCAA 2011. And compared to the content they deliver vs a DVD workout your only getting some stats monitoring while convenient not worth the difference in price in my opinion. Love this game. I have been waiting for some time to try Zumba and had to lose three auctions before I finally got this one. Totally worth the wait.

If prefer to play games, or dance, rather than workout I highly recommend this game. It is the most challenging workout I have done to date. The coolest thing is you are bouncing around your living with bumping beats and it doesn't feel like exercise.

The only complaints I have for this particular game is they do not break down the dances well. You will spend way to long on a simple leg movement and then all of a sudden the dancer is doing something crazy fast and a complete different movement. It misses some points in regards to belly dancing and how to do the hand circles and arm movements correctly. Don't get too caught up on having to do everything perfect. Jump right into the dancing it is alot easier that way. In the play mode you can pick the individual dance routines which are varying degrees of difficulty but focus on one short routine which last about 5 minutes. You have options to work with. You can slowly build up to the full dance and get to focus on areas where you may be lacking.

This game definitely can suit a beginner with a little dance experience all the way to a Latin dance pro. I imagine I will be playing well after I get back in shape.Lire l'avis complet...

Love this game!!

This is a rebuy because my first set up was lost but its worth the money!! Lost 40 lbs without really even trying with this game!! Honestly this is the only way to make working out fun!

Fun & intriguing

I was a little skeptical being another dance game but this is by far the funnest game I have found. Zumba Fitness (Xbox 360, 2010)

I purchased Zumba Fitness because I've heard so many good things about a Zumba workout. I enjoy dancing and a Zumba workout sounded like a fun way to burn calories.

I like the variety of dance routines/styles, the skill levels, the music, the graphics and what feels like personal encouragement from the "dance instructor".

Unfortuantely, I've never taken a Zumba class and I have no dance experience so the steps are a little tricky even at the beginner level. I have another dance game for Xbox 360 Kinect and the steps are broken down before you put the routines together. I think that would help gamers like me learn the dance routines. Also, the menu options are a little harder to navigate through than some of the other games I have.

I would probably buy this product again because it's fun and gets my heart pumping. I will never be a Broadway dancer so it doesn't bother me if I'm going left and the "dance instructor" is going right. Good Exercise game- Sensor with Kinect doesn't work well on sign in.

Good game, definately gets your blood pumping. Not sure if it was just me, but my Kinect sensor did not want to sense me with this game. Very frustrating when you are waiving to sign in for 5 minutes before it actually does. Does not do this with any other game besides Zumba. After reading some of the reviews I was some what skeptical to buy this item, but love Zumba so much I couldn't resist.I've been doing Zumba for a few months and was super excited to find the music and steps to be so familiar! I was able to stay in green or yellow for the majority of the class,I really think it's just getting to know the dance moves and so if you're new to Zumba it may take a while to get used to it. Don't think the game is broken at all. It's like having your very own zumba class at home & coming from a mom who can't always make the gym I am very satisfied with this!Lire l'avis complet...
