Sound great, get plenty loud, last ages on just batteries, what else do you want?

These little Yamaha amps totally kick butt. And if you don't know that, you have not been paying attention. I own two now and really enjoy each. They are portable and you can play for ages on just the batteries alone. Then if you want you can hook up to your computer via USB, and your computers sound will go through the amp and sound way better. Especially music. These amps are easily loud enough, have lots of great effects settings, well, the ones you need in any case. Get one, or be like me and get two.Lire l'avis complet...

Way More Than a Practice Amp...

I have two of these. the high gain and the classic. they both sound great and get very loud. not drummer loud- but that is not what they are for. I write this because other reviews neglect the fact these can be battery powered and have a 1/8 trs input with a separate volume control. makes for a great portable jam device. acoustic guitar sounds good, built in tuner,usb allows the effects parameters to be tweaked and saved as presets. use as an interface to run clean or modeled sounds into your daw. or just plug in your mp3 player and tune out. the simulated surround is good but I always turn it off.bottom line is these things rock and are very versatile and useful for learning,jamming and practice. Awesome Amplifier

This amp is so much fun. Exactly as advertised it is very comfortable on my coffee table in front of my favorite chair. I recommend this amp for acoustic and electric guitars. 👍👍

Quite possibly the best small amp ever made.

Great tone and versatility. Powerful enough to fill a small room, sensitive enough to play with great tone in an apartment. Built solid, nice retro look.

Better than you'd expect

Great amp. Wish I got it sooner. Works on batteries as a bonus so you can play outdoors or travel with it. Great sounds/tones for such a little device.
