Excellent CD/SACD player

I bought this new/open box. Worked perfectly out of the box. No problems in any way. Sound is terrific. I do suggest getting better quality cables (better than Monster) to maximize the capabilities of the player. I'm not an audiophile. I'm using this player with a Yamaha RX-N803 receiver and a (still superb) pair of Infinity Beta 50 floor-standing speakers, and the sound is incredibly nuanced, full, and clear. Reference Audiophile Quality Player With No Listener Fatigue

Yamaha CD-S2100 makes all your SACD/CD's come alive.

This thing is a beast! It is built like a tank, it's solid. The drawer is so smooth, the sound is more realistic somehow. My old SACD player was no slouch but this Yamaha unit is amazing.

If you have SACDs, this is the most convenient device. As good as CD-S3000 for the half of the price... or less!
