Versatile, but not such a great performer.
This is a great solution for middle to low end systems.
Even though it was great in its time, it never filled my expectations. the performance has always been half way of what this chip could deliver.
Only its sibbling equipped with DDR5, could unleash it, the 4870.

get a gtx 260 instead if you cannot find this card for 60$ or less.
This is an excellent buy for 60$ I personally would rather spend another 15-20$ for a gtx 260 but the customer had a budget that was really tight and this fit the bill. This card seems very thin and does not look like much when you look at it but works well for the money.Lire l'avis complet...
An older generation vid card that can outperform most newer cards.
