A Very Good Game

Let me start out by saying that X-Men Origins: Wolverine is one of the best superhero games I have ever played. With innovative levels, great graphics, mostly the original voice cast, and an amazing superhero, the game has a lot going for it. However, the main attraction of this game isn't the graphics of soundtrack, but the ability, heck, honor, to play as Logan A.K.A Wolverine.
No superhero is badder, meaner, or as violent as Wolverine, and the game reflects that. The badness is reflected by the countless enemies you mow down every single level, despite the fact there are hundreds of them, and they have high tech weaponry. The meanness is reflected by his merciless killing, and no bloody, dismembered, body is spared from being cut to pieces in front of our eyes. The violence is reflected by all the dismemberment and the blood, it is rated M for a reason.
The gameplay is great, and, unlike a lot of games today, it is actually fun, not just difficult. For children, this game is probably a pass, due to all the blood and guts, but for older players, this game is a must-have. This game is worth pretty much any price, but if you can get it under $29.99, you got a steal. I highly recomend it.Lire l'avis complet...

Great game play!

This was a great game to play. It is one of the only games I have seen recently that has really taken advantage of the PS3's capabilities. The game involves not only action through fighting, but puzzle solving as well. The mini movies as you go through the game are great and can also be watched again from the main menu. You can unlock bonus costumes of different wolverines too. (Which adds a nice touch especially when playing the game over or replaying a section.) The only thing to mention which I feel is just how games really are now a days, is that the game was beat quickly. With the difficultly levels and the costumes; going back through the game is still fun. Overall this is a great game for the husband or boyfriend to relive their childhood love of the character Wolverine and the X-men comics in general!Lire l'avis complet...

A great game for any Comic Book fan.

This is an amazing game and on the PS3, the detail and graphics are simply breathtaking. With a good story line and great action. However it can be A little repetitive. But it is expected in a game of this type (level based fighting) I highly recomend !!!!! on another note, it is a little graphic for anyone under 14. May not be a good choice for you unless you let your kids play mature rated titles. With the popularity of the Wolverine movie it would be hard to deny any one any age to play this. X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Uncaged Edition

I just recently purchased this game a few weeks ago and it’s the only game I play now. This game loosely follows the latest X-Men Wolverine Origin movie. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the game play. It’s fast paced and full of surprises. Some of the more complex moves will take time to master but they’re worth the effort. The cinematic cuts and storyline are impressive. On occasion, your character will have flash backs filling in the back story requiring you to play during that period. Wolverine is such a complex character, every bit if information will enrich the game play. I’m not sure how far along I am in the game but I keep going back for more. Bloody Hell of a Game!!!!!

Great game was plenty of bloody action, gore & more, the graphics are awesome, great stunts, combos, everything about the game is amazing!! the storyline is very good & long which is rare for most games these days, I started the game yesterday as soon as I got it, took me least a day & a half to beat it. My brothers & I don't tend to like many of the same games but we all love this one, blood & action at every turn with puzzles to figure out. The "boss" fights are a bit repetitive, you basically beat them almost the same way everytime but ya can't have the pros without the cons right? You get to go through Wolverine's past & present through out the storyline. Highly recommended game for anyone who wants a good long story with plenty of gore & blood & awesome stunts!Lire l'avis complet...

Pointless

Demo was cool but after playing this game for a while it starts to get boring. It's more of the same. You go to an area, slice up a bunch of ppl, figure out the puzzle to get to the next area, then beat "the boss". Problem is the boss is the same ugly creature from before. Even on the few Times when they switched it up, the method for beating them are all the same… stand there until they charge at you, then right when their about to attack u have to jump out the way and use your lunge to stab them in their back. This game bores me. According to my stats I'm about 20% into the game. But hey Im 24, work FT, school PT. Maybe I just don't have time for this game. Oh yeah, after playing this game for long periods of time, my eyes hurt and I feel sick like I have to throw up. Too much going on I supposeLire l'avis complet...
