I saw this movie when I was living in Sasebo, Japan in 1961. It brought back lots of memories of that time. The basis of the movie is USA progress into space flight. This movie is aa snapshot of an era. While the plot is a retread, the filming of the actual X-15 and aspects of the program does what CGI can't. Real Air Force footage is just the cherry on top. The acting isn't much, but the 60's costumes and hairdos bring back memories. Footage of the X-15 under the wing of a B-52 and the actual X-15 in flight was great footage. Special effects have come a long way since this film was made!Lire l'avis complet...
