A spectacular addition for fans of the latest World of Warcraft expansion.

I purchased the Collector's Edition well after the release of the original game (I had ordered a digital download originally), but after playing through every aspect of this expansion, I decided the Collector's Edition would be a valuable addition to my collection.

Within this well-designed dust cover (the "damage" around the cover very well represents the status of Azeroth) is a treasure trove of goodies. The box is very stable to prevent shifting during shipping, so every item arrives in absolutely mint condition.

When you first open box, you are met with the art book, which contains works from some of the best WoW artists. The paper is glossy and the color extremely rich, although sometimes I wish there was more. Nonetheless, it is worth having if you are a WoW fan.

Below that is a mousepad which has the main antagonist of this expansion - Deathwing. This is a simple quality pad with no extra frills, but the addition of a primary character makes it definitely worth having.

While the Collector's edition itself does not contain additional zones or benefits from the normal purchase, it does contain a "Lil'" version (that is to say, a very small version) of Deathwing. Frankly, this pet is extremely cute, and he now accompanies my main character as he clears the most recent raids.

The behind-the-scenes footage is very similar to previous expansions, and contains interviews, TV spots, and much more.

The main reason for my purchase was to obtain the soundtrack contained with the Collector's Edition - and I was glad I did. Very few people really listen to the background music, and it's rather sad since the production value is amazing. Full orchestral arrangements of key scenes and popular songs. It is currently sitting in my CD player playing on repeat.

While I do not play the TCG game, I did give the included deck to a good friend, who commented that the deck is "well put together."

Overall, anybody who is a fan of the World of Warcraft series will be pleased with this Collector's Edition and its' contents. A definite purchase before they become hard to come by.Lire l'avis complet...

Best Expansion by Blizzard Yet!

Blizzard has put a lot of work into this expansion, much moreso than any of the others they have done. I have played for more than four years and seen every expansion and this has more value in it than any other by far. You will not be sorry for investing in the hardware necessary to upgrade your computer to make this jewel work! After Beta testing for several months, I was pleased to see that all of our changes were implemented and Blizzard took all of our suggestions for improvements quite seriously. Get this expansion!
Also, for those of you giving bad (1 and 2 star) GAME reviews while complaining about your SELLER experience, this is not the proper venue. This is only to review the product itself, not what you think of what sellers are doing, either individually or as a group.Lire l'avis complet...

Probably the best buy evey!

Thought it was going to be nothing like it came. My breath was taken away to see a brand new book and DVDs! The best buy from someone on eBay, thank you so much. Would buy again for sure

the larges and BEST expansion yet to hit WoW. The graphics are simply amazing now that they upgraded it for the 1st time
Having new races is always cool but what's cooler is have the new story lines to go with them. Also, having new content for my previously maxed character is also a plus.realy great to ride flying mount in all azeoth
It's a bit on the expensive side, since it costs $40 MSRP and just adds more content for an MMORPG with a paid subscription at a $15/month rate.
there should be more content added through the updates at no cost to keep people interested to keep playing after this expansion.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm Collector's Edition

This is by far the best expansion Blizzard has released, but Blizzard has yet to make anything that is less than exceptional. LOW BIDING ON LIMITED EDITION CATA? THATS RETARDED!

Cataclysm is the ultimate in low cost entertainment. It keeps kids off the streets and in the house where they are safe. But, I'm just wondering if people who bid so low on this item knows that it cost alot more that what they are trying to get it for? This game cost 90 dollars retail and it is a limited edition which means it is LIMITED. Its a crappy economy and families are using Ebay to feed their families and pay the bills but, in WoW you can loose yourself to all of that and not think about the outside world or all the problems. Have a little human compassion and pay for what you get while you are in the vast World of Warcraft. Did I mention, there is also an auction within this game. It arrived on time, safe and sound! :-) and I am super happy with everything the artwork in the book is just wonderful and the little cardpack was a nice little easter egg wich I did not expect, lol :P

This is a good game.

this is a good game and the collector's edition is good for any hardcore fan and a great gift too... i chose to keep it as a display item and bought the regular version at the same time...the dynamics of the game are changed here and if you are a new player or a veteran of the game and starting new characters, then the missions, spoiler alert, will start a little differently compared to how they were when veterans might have started out before...Lire l'avis complet...
