Better than expected
It's ready to go right out of the box and sharpened my knives from quality hunting knives to cheap kitchen knives with the same super sharp edge . Very good quality, it knocks other types of knife sharpeners out of the park.
It doesn't take up much space but it does what it is supposed to do, it will take me a while to get used to reallly sharp knives again.

Good Knife Sharpening Tool
I found this tool to be very easy to use and worked really well. A small footprint and did a good job on my kitchen knives. Have to be careful with the downward pressure to use when sharpening a knife so as not to cut into the plastic grove the knife sits in. Would be a much better tool with a little more metal in the unit, but I guess that would raise the price I imagine. I would recommend it to the average user.Lire l'avis complet...

Sharpens knives fast
The only reason for four stars and not five is that after about 8-10 decent sized "dull" knives being sharpened, you might consider changing the belt. But it does come with two belts though. I will say that it will sharpen a knife to the point of being able to shave hair off your arm. That's how I like my knives. Buy it and you will like it.Lire l'avis complet...

Highly recommended
This is my second Work Shop knife sharpener. I purchased another one for my second home so that I wouldn't have to worry about needing it and not having it. Both models are different but equally effective. This model is less costly than the one I purchased 3 years ago. I just took it on a hunting trip and sharpened all knives for 9 hunters (approximately 45) while they watched and all were amazed. The days of wet stones are gone to me. Highly recommend it. It works!
After trying a lot of sharpeners from crock sticks to pull through devices, none worked all that well which was frustrating and costly. For all of the money I spent on other sharpeners, I could have purchased at least 5 of the Work Sharp Combo sharpeners. This sharpener is quick and easy to operate and - lo and behold - it actually works and works well. I have sharpened everything from kitchen knives to my EDC folders and all came out extremely sharp.
