Works great but not intended for more than 90 day per year of use!
I purchased this unit because It offered 1hr. increments in a digital timer (not just in the typical 2, 4, 6, 8 or dusk to dawn option). Digital timers are just plain simple to use. I needed that in-between 3 hr. for use on my led string lights on my patio. I never read that it wasn’t intended for year round use when I looked at this until I read the instructions that came with it (don’t know why I did as I usually don’t need to read those). That brings into question “why not”? It tells me the components must be sub par, so that is disappointing. I just think they should be up front in the description because it’s an important factor. The straight up “yes” or “no” doesn’t work well when you’re rating some products. Do I like the way it works? Yes. Is it a good value? Yes. Would I recommend it? I can’t say “yes” or “no”.
