This story is so compelling. I got my first copy over 40 years ago and have given away copies all these years. It's nice to be able to get it again. For those who are grieving over loss and those who worry about what God and Heaven can be like, buy this, read this. YOU will change. I did and I know many who look expectantly for life beyond this portal because Rebecca Ruter Springer wrote this over 100 years ago. She entitled it Intra Muros (between the Walls). It has since been published under other names, like this WITHIN THE GATES and THE OTHER SIDE. Same story, just different publishings. FYI: THE OTHER SIDE lists Kenny Schmidt as an author. He did not write this wonderful story.. He was an Assembly of God evangelist who saw the value in this wonderful story, so got it republished under another new title. Within Heaven's Gates

When I rate this book average, it is only because I am a realist. Although I have a deep faith in the lord, I question the complete validity of things written here and now about out of body experiences when they are this detailed. However, on a brighter note, my mother, who is 84 years old, loves every page of it. It gives you an account of heaven that makes you want to stay on your knees from morning to night. Faith is, of course, only faith if it is in the unseen and untouchable, and you have to possess that kind of faith to appreciate this book. I would not want to dissuade anyone from reading this book. I had a very bright, sweet sincere Christian lady in her later years say that this was her favorite book in the whole world and believe me, she has read many. Anyway, it is basically an account of someone who was allowed to get more than a glimpse of heaven and the unbelievable joys it encompasses. if you need something to look forward to...and have the ability to believe without proof, go buy the book tomorrow.Lire l'avis complet...

This is a must-read for both Christians and not yet Christians. Heaven is real and worth everything. Get a foretaste of it with this book.

I think I was meant to read this when I first did years ago. A friend in her twenties had just died and this really said what I needed to hear.

Wonderful book! One of the BEST!

This is a book you want your own copy to read and reread. Such a blessing and such encouragement for what we have ahead. Anyone who has had a miscarriage, lost a child or loved one, or looking to leave this earth soon will be SOOOOOO encouraged. I highly recommend it for ALL! Of course it is Ms Springer's account of HER experience but I believe it lines up with Scripture and is of great value. Consider it just a snippet, or a word for any day!Lire l'avis complet...

Within Heaven's Gates

I am a Funeral Director and work with families who have lost their loved ones regularly. I see their pain and always want to help them in some way.
A friend loaned me this book and after reading this lovely woman's experiences in heaven I felt very peaceful. I knew that family members WHO WERE BELIEVERS IN CHRIST would get a GREAT deal from this book.
I actually bought over 35 copies, totally, from different sellers. We give it to family members when they have lost someone.
